We're hiring: Accountant & Bookkeeper | Remote · Colombia

Arvenda is a staffing company connecting top Colombian talent with U.S.-based companies. We are recruiting a proactive and highly analytical Accountant & Bookkeeper to take full ownership of financial records, manage complex cash flow scenarios, and support a fast-paced U.S. operation.

This is not a data-entry role — we need an "operator" with a deep understanding of U.S. accounting standards, strong QuickBooks Online skills, and a strategic mindset for cash flow management.

What you'll do

- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping: AP/AR, payroll support, and daily reconciliations with high accuracy
- Maintain clean and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online (and NetSuite if applicable)
- Monitor inflows and outflows, perform detailed cash flow analysis, and provide proactive liquidity reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and spend management platforms like Ramp
- Prepare month-end closing, quarterly reports, and year-end financial statements
- Assist in creating financial projections and monitoring department-wise budgets




- Ensure all expenses are properly categorized and backed by documentation according to company policy

What we're looking for

- Based in Colombia — required
- 3–5 years in accounting or bookkeeping roles, preferably supporting U.S. or international companies
- Advanced English — comfortable in meetings with U.S. leadership
- Expert-level QuickBooks Online — mandatory
- Solid grasp of Cash vs. Accrual accounting, GAAP principles, and cash flow projections
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling

Nice to have

- Experience with NetSuite — highly valued
- CPA equivalent or degree in Accounting/Finance
- Experience in high-growth startups or tech-enabled services
