CFO – VC Backed B2B SaaS Start-up – Germany We’re excited to be working with one of Europe’s most exciting B2B SaaS start-ups who are looking for their first CFO following a significant Series A fundraise led by a top European Venture Capital fund. Utilising their expert market knowledge, the co-founders have developed a unique AI-enabled platform that provides valuable insight to businesses in the energy industry. Following a year in which they saw headcount more than double to 80 and ARR leap to $5m+, they are now expanding internationally across the continent.

Key responsibilities

- Responsible for driving the future growth of the business
- Strategic partner to the CEO and wider leadership team to support on commercial initiatives and long-term strategic planning (including planning for an exit in c.4-5 years)
- Support their international expansion into the UK
- Continuous process improvement and automation to enable the business to scale
- Stakeholder management with the VC investors




- Own and continually develop KPI reporting and analysis of key SaaS metrics
- Identifying performance gaps and areas for potential improvement Requirements:
- Proven track record of working within a VC backed tech business
- CFO experience in a fast growth start-up or scale-up
- Highly commercially astute
- Ability to become a strategic partner to the co-founders
- Excellent communicator with the ability to present well both internally and externally
