Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and submit legal documents to various courts, ensuring all filings are done in a timely manner and comply with court rules.
- Assist attorneys in drafting, editing, and finalizing legal motions, including researching relevant laws and precedents.
- Create various legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials, under the supervision of attorneys.
- Manage the billing process by tracking billable hours, preparing invoices, and handling billing inquiries
- Monitor and manage the attorney’s email, prioritizing important communications and ensuring prompt response
- Contact clients to provide updates, gather information,
and schedule appointments as needed.
Requirements and skills:
- 1 or 2 years of paralegal experience, demonstrating competence in legal research, document preparation, and case management.
- Proficiency in handling multiple responsibilities at once without compromising on quality or accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and legal documents simultaneously.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced legal environment."
