Position Overview

An Accounting Clerk III is responsible for overseeing and executing accounting and clerical functions to support financial operations. Duties may include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, entering transactions into accounting systems, and assisting with accounts payable/receivable/cash functions, preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records. The role may also involve supporting payroll process, and includes reconciliations—such as loan balances and prepaid fixed assets, assisting in month-end and year-end close processes. The role also involves maintaining and updating detailed accounting schedules, including those related to fixed assets and prepaids.



It requires a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies, recommending process improvements to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Quantum FBI is headquartered in New York; however, this position will be based remotely in Colombia.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years' experience in accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills & basic knowledge of Power Query
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Intacct
• Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP, with a preferred understanding of IFRS
• Strong analytical skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• English B2 Level
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage workload priorities, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
