Responsibilities / Tasks
The Process Engineer supports the design, development, and implementation of process systems within the Liquid Technologies division. The role contributes to the successful execution of projects from early sales support through detailed engineering, commissioning, and optimization.
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing process designs, preparing engineering documentation, supporting procurement and installation activities, and assisting in commissioning and startup. The role ensures that process solutions meet customer requirements while complying with company standards for quality, safety, and environmental performance.
This position works closely with internal engineering teams, project managers, suppliers, and customers to deliver technically sound and efficient process solutions.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Define production processes; size and specify pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, valves, instruments, filters, piping, and accessories.
- Develop basic and detailed process diagrams (PFD/P&ID;), contribute to plant layout and general arrangement drawings in collaboration with CAD teams, and review 3D model execution.
- Prepare and/or review mass and energy balances for projects and sold process designs.
- Generate data sheets and technical specifications that feed CAD, Mechanical, Electrical, and Automation—and support procurement
- Create process descriptions and operating narratives as the basis for process control software (incl. software FAT support).
