Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Subsidiary operation in Canada for Finance Service Unit ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures and guarantee the reasonableness of accounting information under the scope of the Accounting Team in Bogotá.

Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Perform requested documentation for auditing purposes.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting to Supervisor as needed.
- Perform Account reconciliations belong to Balance Sheet and P&L.;
- Process Journal entries/reconciliation process and variance analysis as required




- Generate financial reports and statements to Supervisors for review.
- Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
- Prepared and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
- Prepare information and files for regulatory reporting
- Attend meetings as required by team leaders.
- Identify process improvement opportunities for team and escalate to Accounting Supervisor.
- Keep Desktop Training Procedures (DTP) documents for relevant processes up to date.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
