About the Role
The Finance Systems Accountant acts as the functional bridge between Financial Control and Systems Architecture. Working in close partnership with our Senior Finance Systems Admin, you will provide critical US timezone coverage, share the system administration workload, and build crucial team redundancy.
You will serve as a technical accounting liaison. By owning the Salesforce Billing configurations (GL Rules, Revenue Recognition,
Tax), you will identify system shortcomings, propose solutions in line with accounting standards, and translate approved technical accounting logic into system configurations to ensure a seamless data flow from Salesforce directly into our ERP, Sage Intacct.

● Complementing the Team: Our Senior Admin knows the operational mechanics inside and out but is at full capacity. You will step in to share the load, provide backup, and bring accounting rigor to the team's problem-solving.
● First Line of Defense for Salesforce Admins: You will act as the technical accounting filter—answering day-to-day IT questions regarding system logic (like Rev Rec execution and billing behavior). You will identify gaps and propose compliant solutions to ensure the system aligns with accounting standards, while crucially guaranteeing that backend changes do not break the downstream reve
