The client is seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to
build and scale an operational intelligence platform focused on risk scoring,
behavioral prediction, automated intervention, and marketplace intelligence.
This role requires complete ownership of product development from
architecture and design through deployment and ongoing optimization.

ownership of technical decisions, and can contribute as a senior individual
contributor while potentially mentoring future developers.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Own features end-to-end from design through production deployment
- Architect, build, release, and maintain scalable applications
- Develop across the full technology stack including Rails, PostgreSQL,React, Node.js, and Next.js
- Build intelligence systems including risk scoring, churn prediction,
- affinity modeling, and recommendation engines
- Design data pipelines and feedback loops that improve platform decision-making
- Develop SQL-based analytics, reporting, and operational dashboards
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems
- Participate in design reviews and AI-assisted development workflows
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize production systems
- Collaborate closely with leadership and engineering teams
- Potentially mentor and support future junior developers





Required Experience & Skills:

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails
- Advanced PostgreSQL experience
- Strong React, Node.js, and Next.js development experience

Advanced SQL skills including:

- Materialized views
- Analytical queries
- Data pipelines
- Reporting systems
- Experience shipping and maintaining production applications
- Strong understanding of system architecture and scalability
- Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Availability during US East Coast business hours

Preferred Experience:

- Experience building scoring, recommendation, prediction, or intelligence systems
- Startup or small-team environment experience
- Experience mentoring developers
- Public GitHub portfolio
- Experience managing projects independently
