Hey! We’re Scale Up, and our client is looking to hire a Head of UX/UI for a Fast-Growing SaaS Startup
Type of Employment: Contractor (Long-term)
Work Modality: 100% Remote
Work Schedule: Full-time
Time Zone: US East Coast (must be available during ET working hours)
Location: LATAM
About Our Client
Partnerships drive 30–50% of revenue for modern companies, yet most partner teams still rely on spreadsheets, email, Slack, and CRMs that were never built for them—resulting in lost time, missed deals, and limited scalability.
Our client has built an AI-native PRM platform designed specifically for modern partnership teams. The product replaces manual workflows, reduces partner friction, and transforms partner activity into repeatable, measurable revenue. Their mission is to make partner revenue scalable and predictable.
They are a fast-growing, bootstrapped, and profitable SaaS company that achieved 600% YoY growth in 2025, working with leading organizations across the tech ecosystem. The team moves quickly, builds with intention, and is focused on solving high-impact problems in the partner tech space.
The Role
Our client is looking for a Head of UX/UI to own the end-to-end product design experience across their platform.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll lead the existing design team while remaining highly hands-on in the craft. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys mentoring designers, shaping design strategy, and still spending a significant portion of their time designing in Figma.
You'll define the UX/UI vision across a complex B2B SaaS platform serving multiple user types, establish design standards, improve processes, and work closely with Product and Engineering to build intuitive, scalable user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the team:
- Lead, manage, and mentor our existing team of designers from day one — set high standards for craft, process, and delivery, and create the conditions for them to do their best work.
- Run regular design critiques and give specific, actionable feedback that levels up the team and creates a shared quality bar everyone designs toward.
- Own the design process end to end — how work is scoped, reviewed, handed off, and measured — so the team ships consistently and predictably.
- Grow the team over time: define roles, evaluate portfolios, and run design hiring as we scale.
- Be the connective tissue between design, product, and engineering — represent design in planning, advocate for the user, and make sure design decisions are understood and respected across the org.
Stay hands-on:
- Contribute directly as an individual contributor on the highest-leverage and most complex design work — this is not a purely managerial role.
- Own the UX/UI vision and execution across all EULER product surfaces from early concepts and wireframes through high-fidelity, engineering-ready specs.
- Build and maintain a cohesive design system in Figma — design tokens, components, and variables — that keeps the product consistent and scalable as we ship constantly.
- Own the engineering handoff: deliver specs precise enough to leave no room for interpretation.
- Run user research and usability testing to ground design decisions in real user behavior — not assumptions.
- Identify friction points across the product and proactively design improvements — you don’t wait to be asked.
Across both:
- Track and own design’s impact on product adoption and engagement — UX is a business lever here, not just a deliverable.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of UX/UI design experience in B2B SaaS,
with at least 2 years leading a design team in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
- A track record of both managing designers and personally shipping high-quality product work — you’ve genuinely done both at once, not one and then the other.
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design — complex workflows, multi-sided platforms, or enterprise tools preferred.
- Expert in Figma — design systems, design tokens, component libraries, prototyping, and engineering handoff.
- Experience designing for multiple user types with different mental models and goals.
- Proven ability to lead research, synthesize findings, and translate them into design decisions that move the product forward.
- Comfortable owning design metrics — adoption, engagement, task completion — and using them to prioritize and justify decisions.
- Collaborative and opinionated — you bring a clear point of view and know how to defend it without losing the room.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and decisions get made with incomplete information.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
Why Join Us
- Own the UX/UI function at a profitable, fast-growing SaaS company — lead the team and build the product yourself.
- Lead a design team while staying hands-on in Figma — this role won’t pull you into pure management.
- Design for a product with two distinct user experiences and genuine complexity — this is not a landing page role.
- Build and evolve the design system in parallel with new features shipping constantly.
- Work directly with the founders, with a direct line to the product and engineering decisions that shape what gets built.
- Real traction: 600% YoY growth, enterprise customers, and a category wide open for disruption.
- A small, high-impact team that values speed, ownership, and craft.
- Competitive salary and benefits
If this sounds like a fit, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now!
