Remote Case Manager – California Personal Injury
Location: 100% Remote - Work From Home!
Type: Full-Time, Starting Immediately
Schedule: Monday–Friday, working U.S. Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours
Salary: $7.00–$9.00 USD per hour

About the Role
Are you an experienced Case Manager with a strong background in California plaintiff-side personal injury law? We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive professional who can confidently step into a fast-paced legal team and begin contributing from day one.
This is a high-level case management position for someone who understands the California personal injury process from start to finish and is comfortable managing a busy caseload with minimal training. Attention to detail is extremely important, as you’ll be responsible for keeping case information accurate, tracking deadlines, maintaining consistent client communication, and ensuring cases continue moving forward.
You’ll work closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other members of the legal team while providing dependable, professional support throughout each stage of the case.
This is a full-time remote position working Monday through Friday during U.S. Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.
Please note: A minimum of two years of experience handling California plaintiff-side personal injury cases is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload from intake through settlement and assist with the transition into litigation when necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular case updates and exceptional client service.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding treatment, case progress, and outstanding documentation.
- Coordinate medical treatment and communicate with medical providers.
- Request, review, organize, and track medical records, bills, liens, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters, medical providers, clients, opposing parties, and other case-related contacts.
- Track statutes of limitation, treatment progress, case deadlines, and other important milestones.
- Ensure all case information, notes, documents, and communications are accurately entered into the case management system.
- Assist attorneys by preparing detailed case summaries, organizing files, and gathering necessary documentation.
- Identify missing information or potential case issues and proactively follow up to resolve them.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic case files.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and other members of the legal team to keep cases moving efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience managing California plaintiff-side personal injury cases.
- Strong understanding of the California personal injury process, including treatment coordination, insurance claims, medical documentation, liens, settlement preparation, and litigation transitions.
- Ability to step into the position with minimal training and begin managing cases quickly.
- Experience managing a high-volume personal injury caseload.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong client service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately.
- Ability to prioritize multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and personal injury case management software such as Clio or a similar platform.
Experience
- Personal Injury Case Management: 2 years required
- California Personal Injury Law: 2 years required
- Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury: 2 years required
- High-Volume Case Management: 1 year preferred
- Medical Records and Treatment Coordination: 1 year preferred
Technical Requirements
- Personal computer with Windows 10/11 or Mac OS
- Dual monitors for increased productivity
- Minimum of 16GB RAM
- Hardwired internet connection through Ethernet only—no Wi-Fi
- Noise-canceling USB headset with microphone—no Bluetooth, wireless, or 3.5mm headsets
