JLG Lawyers is currently hiring a Legal Assistant (Entry Level) to support our legal team remotely. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a highly organized, proactive individual based in Colombia who is fluent in English and eager to grow with a dedicated legal practice. We are looking for candidates with a legal background, recent law school graduates, students close to graduating, or those with at least one year of experience working for a U.S. law firm.

Location: Remote (Colombia)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Equipment: Must have access to your own computer and a reliable internet connection

Compensation Progression (PayPal):

- First 3 months (probationary period): $800 USD/month
- Months 4–6: $900 USD/month
- After 6 months: $1,125 USD/month

Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Schedule and coordinate calls and meetings with clients and attorneys
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve them




- Send and request documentation/evidence from clients
- Communicate with clients to gather information and updates
- Assist attorneys with calendar management
- Draft letters and routine legal correspondence
- Review, organize, and track client documentation
- Prepare and update internal reports
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems
- Perform administrative tasks, including correspondence and data entry
- Complete onboarding process and intakes
- Finalize and send demand letters

Requirements:

- Law degree recently completed or current law student close to graduating
- Fluent English (C1 level or above) – written and spoken
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Must have a personal computer and a quiet, professional home workspace
- Preferred but not requires: at least 1 year of experience working for a U.S. law firm
