Space Planning Designer for Multifamily and Mixed-Use Buildings

About us

We are a New York City-based architecture firm specializing in multi-family residential and mixed-use projects. Founded seven years ago, the firm is currently undergoing a rebrand and expanding its team. With a total of 30 team members, including an 11-person architectural team in Bogotá, we work on the design and delivery of projects across New York City, combining technical expertise with a strong focus on quality and innovation.

About the role

The Space Planning Designer will develop and create efficient space plans for multifamily and mixed-use developments, ensuring optimal use of space. Responsibilities include collaborating with project manager and project architect to understand project goals, conducting site analysis, and preparing detailed floor plans and layouts.



The candidate will incorporate sustainable design principles and evaluate space utilization strategies to enhance functionality and livability.

Required Skills:

- Strong design and planning skills to create efficient layouts.
- Technical proficiency in Revit for drafting and modeling.
- Fluency in English, ensuring effective communication.
- Knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail in developing precise plans and specifications.
