Communications Manager: Use Your Voice to Inspire Action and Advance Meaningful Change

Intuitive Solutions is partnering with an advocacy, mission--driven nonprofit organization to identify a talented Communications Manager who can transform ideas, impact, and advocacy into compelling stories that move people to act.

About the Role

The Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of communications initiatives across digital, print, fundraising, advocacy, and public relations channels.

This individual will create clear, persuasive, and engaging content that supports organizational priorities while ensuring messaging remains consistent, professional, and aligned with the nonprofit’s mission and values.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Development

- Write annual reports, impact reports, and organizational updates.
- Develop and maintain website content.
- Create newsletters, email campaigns, and community communications.
- Draft organizational announcements, letters, and public-facing materials.




- Develop campaign messaging and advocacy content.

Social Media and Digital Communications

- Manage the organization’s social media content calendar.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content.
- Coordinate graphic design and creative needs with internal or external designers.
- Monitor audience engagement, reach, and growth.
- Support digital advocacy, awareness, and community engagement campaigns.

Media and Public Relations

- Draft press releases and media advisories.
- Develop media kits, campaign materials, and public-facing resources.
- Support communications efforts that strengthen the organization’s visibility and public presence.

Fundraising and Donor Communications

- Create compelling fundraising appeals.
- Develop donor stewardship and engagement communications.
- Write impact updates that demonstrate the value of donor support.
- Assist with campaign messaging and donor communication journeys.

Communications Administration

- Maintain the organization’s communications calendar.
- Organize communications assets and manage the content library.
- Track communications performance and prepare reports on key metrics.




- Help ensure messaging remains timely, coordinated, and consistent across channels.

What We’re Looking For

The adecuado candidate is an exceptional writer with strong storytelling skills in English, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Successful candidates will bring:

- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. (Experience Writing in English)
- Experience developing content across digital, print, social media, fundraising, or public relations channels.
- The ability to translate complex ideas into clear and engaging messages.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Creativity, initiative, and attention to detail.
- The ability to collaborate with colleagues, designers, leadership, and external partners.
- A genuine interest in nonprofit work, community impact, advocacy, or public service.
- Experience in nonprofit communications, public relations, marketing, fundraising communications, or digital engagement is highly valued.
