Own accounting quality across multiple entities, review the work of others, and become the trusted operational partner to US finance leadership.

This is not a task-execution role. You will be expected to own outcomes, exercise judgment, improve how the work gets done, and communicate directly with senior stakeholders.

What you'll own

- Lead the close calendar, assign ownership, review outputs, and resolve issues before reporting deadlines.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Own US GAAP accounting application across routine and judgment-heavy transactions.
- Coach accountants, improve review standards, and create repeatable close and control playbooks.
- Coordinate audit, tax, payroll, AP, AR, and external-service-provider dependencies.
- Present close results, risks, and material variances to controllers, CFOs, or client leaders.

What makes you a fit

- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close leadership or review responsibility.
- Hands-on US GAAP experience supporting US entities or clients is required.
- Strong command of accruals,



prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial-statement review.
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of accountants, whether through direct or informal leadership.
- Experience in a multi-entity, multi-client, or fast-growth environment.
- Confident communication, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with limited oversight.

- You have moved beyond preparing the work and are accountable for the quality, completeness, and timeliness of the final output.
- You can review others’ work, coach performance, and raise the operating standard without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- You make sound decisions with incomplete information and escalate with a recommendation—not just a problem statement.
- You are comfortable leading direct conversations with US Controllers, CFOs, executives, auditors, or business leaders.
