We are seeking a driven, results-oriented sales professional to join our onboarding team as an Evaluation Specialist. This is a high-volume sales and closing role focused on converting interested leads into signed, fully onboarded clients for employment law and/or workers’ compensation claims in California.
Using an automated dialer, you will connect with a steady stream of leads who have requested legal assistance, qualify each one through an evaluation tool designed by our attorneys, overcome objections, and close the retainer. You will then complete the full intake process with the client — owning the entire journey from first contact to onboarded client.
This is a client-facing and metrics-driven role for someone who thrives on conversion. It requires confident communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to guide clients through legal pre-qualification without offering legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Work a high volume of outbound calls through the automated dialer to engage leads seeking help with employment law and/or workers’ compensation cases — speed-to-lead and persistent follow-up are essential.
- Qualify each lead by working through the firm’s attorney-designed evaluation tool to confirm the case meets the firm’s criteria.
- Deliver a confident, consultative sales conversation — explaining the legal process, firm services, and retainer agreement terms in clear, simple language.
- Identify and overcome client concerns and objections using provided rebuttals to convert leads into signed clients.
- Close the sale by guiding qualified leads through signing the retainer agreement.
- Complete the full intake process with the client once the retainer is signed, ensuring accuracy and a smooth handoff to the legal team.
- Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly conversion and retention targets.
- Accurately document every call outcome, disposition, and note in the CRM system.
- Uphold empathy, professionalism, and compliance throughout all interactions.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of phone sales or closing experience (high-volume outbound or legal intake a strong plus).
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in a metrics-driven environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy.
- Skilled at building trust, managing objections, and explaining complex processes in simple terms.
- Comfortable working with an automated dialer and CRM tools; solid basic computer skills.
- Fluent in English (C1); bilingual Spanish.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Availability to work onsite full-time.
