About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage many functionsof building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio ofbuildings.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functionalarea which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets,providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investmentplans.
What You'll Do: Provide formal supervision to employees. Trackthe training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations andcoaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's dailyactivities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Setand track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Coordinate and manage facility repairs andmaintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors. Maintain positive client relationships andconduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. Prepare and manage large and high-profilecapital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. Perform facility inspections quality assurancefollowing local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implementoperational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. Create environmental health and safetyprocedures for facilities. Develop vendor relationships and overseeinvoicing procedures. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement ofparts, services, and labor for projects. Apply a broad knowledge of the business, owndiscipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team anddepartmental objectives.
Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different pointof view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. Identify and solve technical and operationalproblems of complexity. Understand and recognize the broader impactacross the department. Improve and change existing methods, processes,and standards within job discipline.
What You'll Need: Bachelor's Degree 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Facilitiesmanagement (industrial sites) Leadership skills to motivate the team toachieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiplejob disciplines, and department. Extensive organizational skills and an advancedinquisitive mindset.
