Financial Project Manager (Financial PMO)WSP is seeking a Financial Project Manager to lead and coordinate the financial aspects of strategic projects from inception through completion. and comprehensive employee benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the financial planning, management, and control of projects throughout their entire lifecycle.Coordinate the development and monitoring of project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Oversee project revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and cash flow.Partner with Project Managers to ensure financial and contractual objectives are achieved.Analyze financial results, identify variances, and recommend timely corrective actions.Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities related to projects.Develop and deliver executive-level financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.Monitor financial and operational KPIs to evaluate project performance.Identify financial risks, optimization opportunities, and mitigation strategies.Provide guidance and coordination to Project Controllers and Financial Analysts regarding project financial management.Ensure compliance with corporate policies, financial procedures, and audit requirements.Participate in strategic planning, financial capacity analysis, and business decision-making processes.Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.Drive continuous improvement, process automation,
and financial efficiency initiatives across the organization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Master's degree or specialization in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or a related discipline is highly desirable.10+ years of experience in project financial management, financial planning, project controls, financial PMO environments, or similar roles.Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial control, and performance analysis processes for complex projects.Experience within engineering, infrastructure, construction, consulting, or professional services environments.Strong knowledge of cost management, budget control, profitability analysis, and cash flow management.Experience preparing and presenting financial reports to executive leadership.Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.Ability to analyze complex financial information and translate findings into strategic business recommendations.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across multiple organizational levels.Excellent project management skills and experience working in multicultural environments.Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher), both written and verbal.Professional certifications such as PMP, CPA, CFA, or equivalent are considered an asset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
