Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive International Trade & Events Consultant (Mid-Level) to lead trade promotion initiatives and support international consulting projects across Latin America.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in international trade, event management, and client relationship management who are eager to contribute to global business development in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of international trade events, business missions, and promotional activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, exporters, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate multiple consulting projects while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
Prepare reports, presentations, project documentation, and post-event evaluations.
Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities to strengthen client engagement.
Coordinate meetings and facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members when appropriate.




Collaborate with River Global's international consulting team on trade promotion and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience in international trade, project management, event management, marketing, or related areas.
Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
Portuguese proficiency is preferred.
Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams.
Experience coordinating international events or trade promotion initiatives is highly desirable.

This is a mid-level position intended for professionals with previous experience managing projects and building client relationships in international business environments.
