We are looking for an experienced Safety Administrator to join our team.
The adecuado candidate will have experience in transportation safety and compliance, supporting the company's occupational health and safety initiatives.
This role is responsible for maintaining safety documentation, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and internal policies, managing incident-related records, and promoting a safe and accountable work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, organize, and maintain all documentation related to workplace incidents, employee injuries, vehicle accidents, and safety compliance.Create, update, and manage safety cases and incident reports in TMW, ensuring accurate tracking, follow-up, and recordkeeping.Process and verify employment verification requests through TenStreet.Receive, review, and document roadside inspections, identifying violations, citations, and follow-up actions when required.Coordinate and schedule pre-employment DOT physicals, agility tests, and drug screenings.Complete new hire safety orientation checklists, ensuring all required documentation and compliance requirements are met before onboarding.Monitor driver records through Samba Safety,



identifying potential risks and notifying the appropriate stakeholders.Analyze safety data and prepare reports to monitor trends, develop KPIs, and support continuous safety improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards.Collaborate with Operations and other departments to support safety initiatives, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.Requirements6+ months of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Safety, or a related field (required).
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, logistics operations, and workplace safety practices.Understanding of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Experience using TMW, TenStreet, SambaSafety, document management software, and other external transportation systems is preferred.
