Position Overview
The General Manager will lead all operations for Safe Transfers Bogotá, acting as the on-the-ground CEO for the business.
This is a new position with significant autonomy and responsibility to shape the division's systems, team, and reputation.
The role combines daily operational management, team leadership, marketing collaboration, and direct client interaction.
Attention to detail, strong communication, and a proactive attitude are critical.
There will be opportunities for performance-based bonuses tied to growth, customer satisfaction, and transfer volume.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee airport operations, transfers, and real-time driver dispatch.
Supervise driver quality, safety standards, and client service execution.




Personally assist with VIP or complex pickups when needed to maintain standards.
Team & Quality Management
Manage Operations Coordinators (day and night shifts).
Conduct weekly performance reviews and service audits.
Lead resolution of client issues or incidents quickly and professionally.
Marketing & Partnerships
Develop and maintain relationships with hotels, embassies, and corporate partners.
Collaborate with the Cielo.Travel marketing team on campaigns and listings.
Capture feedback, testimonials, and visuals to support brand growth.
Reporting & Administration
Produce weekly reports on rides, revenue, and client feedback.
Track KPIs to measure operational success and growth.
Ensure compliance with all local transport and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, tourism, or logistics operations.
Proven experience leading teams and managing daily operations.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Proficient with digital tools (CRM systems, Google Workspace, WhatsApp).
Versátil availability, including evenings or weekends when required.
Highly organized, entrepreneurial, and motivated to build a brand from the ground up.
