Back End: Java 21+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka/Redpanda, gRPC, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Unit/Integration Testing
Architecture: Micro‐services, event‐based architecture
Cloud: CI/CD with DevOps, Azure, GitHub Enterprise
Responsibilities
Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle working within Agile methodology.
Write well‐designed, testable and efficient code.
Ensure designs follow specifications and review procedures.
Collaborate and take instruction from peer engineers to complete tasks.
Document all components and methodologies as required.
Qualifications
Advanced English speaking and writing skills.
2+ years of Java experience in a professional environment.
2+ years of relational database experience (SQL).
Strong understanding of REST APIs, micro‐services, databases,



unit testing, version control (Git) and Agile methodology.
Ability to work positively in a team environment.
Professionalism in handling constructive feedback and learning/adapting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Sense of urgency.
Honesty, curiosity, and tenacity.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
What makes you stand out
Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RedPanda.
Experience in DevOps and CI/CD.
Education / Certification Requirements
University qualification in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing recent projects.
Working Environment
Hybrid – 4 days in office at Avenida Carrera 9A, Bogotá, Colombia.
Full‐time employment under a permanent contract.
