Worldpanel by Numerator provides consumer data representing nearly 6 billion consumers in 65 countries, offering brands a multi-dimensional view of how people think, how they shop, and how they consumer, so they can set bold strategies and drive sustainable business impact.Role OverviewThe Assistant Regional Controller – NOLA is a key member of the Numerator International Finance organization, based in Bogotá, Colombia, and reporting directly to the LATAM Regional Controller within the Global Control & Accounting function.This role is responsible for supporting the accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and control environment across the NOLA region, including Mexico, Ecuador, and the Central America (CAM) countries.
The successful candidate will partner closely with regional Finance Business Partners, Shared Services, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and General Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions.The Assistant Regional Controller will play a critical leadership role in driving consistency across the region, strengthening internal controls, improving accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with both U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements.
This position requires a technically strong accounting professional with multinational experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment and leading finance initiatives across multiple countries.Role DescriptionSupport the LATAM Regional Controller in managing all accounting and controllership activities across Mexico, Ecuador, and the Central America (CAM) countries.Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with the global reporting calendar.Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals,



and supporting schedules while ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items.Analyze monthly financial results and prepare executive-level variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership and Finance Business Partners.Partner closely with Finance Business Partners and operational leaders to provide financial insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, local statutory accounting requirements, company accounting policies, and internal control standards across all entitiesCoordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements, tax filings, VAT returns, regulatory reporting, and annual external audits with local advisors and auditors.Support regional working capital initiatives by partnering with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury teams to improve cash flow, balance sheet integrity, and overall financial performance.Monitor key accounting estimates, reserves, provisions, and technical accounting matters to ensure accurate financial reporting.Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process standardization, automation, and implementation of best practices across the region.Support implementation of new accounting standards, corporate accounting policies, and finance transformation initiatives.Maintain a strong internal control environment and support SOX compliance, Internal Audit reviews, and remediation efforts where applicable.Assist with ERP and finance systems enhancements, including NetSuite, OneStream, Salesforce, ADP,



Kyriba, and other finance applications.Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders across Accounting, FP&A;, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Commercial Finance, and Shared Services.Mentor and develop junior accounting professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Act as the Regional Controller's delegate when required and provide leadership support during month-end close, audits, finance transformation projects, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a multinational organization.Experience supporting multiple legal entities across Latin America, with exposure to Mexico, Ecuador, and Central America strongly preferred.Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements.Proven experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, statutory reporting, and external audits.Experience within a SaaS, technology, professional services, or multinational business environment is highly preferred.Strong understanding of internal controls, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit requirements.Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems such as NetSuite, OneStream, Salesforce, ADP, Kyriba, or similar platforms.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.Demonstrated success leading process improvements, standardization initiatives, automation projects, and finance transformation efforts.Previous experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring accounting professionals is preferred.
