As Executive Assistant to the Disease Area Head (DAH), CAR -T Oncology, you will be at the heart of global initiatives, ensuring seamless operations and enabling high-impact decision-making.
This is more than an administrative position—it is a chance to shape how Novartis delivers innovation and collaboration across borders.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide executive-level administrative support to the DAH CAR-T, Oncology and a team of approximately 55 people across Commercial Supply and Clinical Trial Supply activities.Coordinate complex scheduling across global time zones for meetings and trainings.Organize logistics for international business travel and submit expense reportsManage on-site, off-site, and virtual meetings with precision and discretionLead administrative projects with defined scope, timelines, and deliverablesStreamline and optimize administrative processes for improved team efficiencyAct as liaison for departmental guidelines and services across internal teamsMaintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and communicationsSupport cross-functional collaboration and contribute to special initiativesModel Novartis values through proactive ownership and operational excellenceEssential RequirementsFluent English speaker.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and professionalismStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiencesDemonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive informationBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceAdvanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionHigh tolerance for deadlines and conflicting prioritiesDesirable RequirementsExperience supporting senior leadership in a global, matrixed organizationProven ability to manage cross-cultural interactions and foster inclusive collaborationRewardsAt Novartis, we're committed to reimagining medicine together - and rewarding the people who make it happen.The rewards of being part of our team go far beyond base pay and incentives.
