Audubon is currently seeking an Microsoft Systems Administrator to join our team in our Bogotá, Colombia Office.
The idóneo candidate will have strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft enterprise infrastructure in hybrid environments, combining Azure cloud services with on‐premises Windows Server infrastructure.
Responsibilities include administering Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure resources, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure services while ensuring system stability, security, and high availability.
This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, day‐to‐day administration of Microsoft enterprise technologies, and adherence to established security and compliance standards to support a reliable and secure environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments in hybrid (on‐premises and Azure) infrastructure.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, mailbox management, mail flow, and messaging troubleshooting.
Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, identity services, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
Manage and monitor virtual servers and virtualization platforms to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues involving Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, networking, authentication, and Microsoft enterprise services.
Perform server provisioning, patch management, system upgrades, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Conduct regular backup operations and support disaster recovery planning and testing.
Support and maintain LANs, WANs, network segments, VPN connectivity, DNS, DHCP, routing,



and other core networking services.
Administer authentication, authorization, identity management, and access control services.
Monitor system performance, security, and infrastructure health while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Document technical procedures, infrastructure configurations, and incident resolutions.
Ensure compliance with ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and enterprise security best practices.
Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to support infrastructure changes, incident response, and operational improvements.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Advanced English proficiency (C1).
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of hands‐on experience administering Microsoft enterprise infrastructure in production environments.

Experience supporting hybrid Microsoft environments combining Azure and on‐premises infrastructure.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper‐V.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including VLANs, routing, subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and switch/router configuration.
Experience administering enterprise identity, authentication, authorization, and access management services.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‐solving skills with the ability to independently resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global IT organization.
Willingness to provide 24x7 support as needed.
