You will be applying for the role of Midlevel Backend Developer.Your daily responsibilities are:Gaining a deep understanding of Kanguro's evolving products, such as Pet Insurance and Renters Insurance, to build impactful applications for both customers and internal users.Collaborating closely with the rest of the Kanguro team, leveraging technology to solve their needs scalably, building internal tools, and automating repetitive workflows.Leveraging the latest advancements in AI-powered development workflows, from in-editor suggestions to agentic feature implementation and AI-assisted code reviews.




We use a combination of Claude Code.Proposing, discussing, and implementing improvements to the technology and data team's workflows, including code reviews, vulnerability scanning, and CI/CD pipelines.Managing and evolving our hybrid infrastructure of Linux and Azure servers as needed.Conditions & Benefits:The salary for this role is COP $*********.Schedule: U.S. holidays observed + additional paid days when Colombia has extra holidays.This position requires you to come to the office close to "Parque de la 93" in Bogota 3 times a week, with 2 days of work from home.
