We're looking for a seasoned .
NET engineer ready to own the architecture and delivery of enterprise‐scale software.
You write great code, make sound technical decisions, and can present confidently to senior leadership.
This role grows toward Tech Manager or Architect depending on your path.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of complex enterprise products within the .
NET ecosystem.
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Define technical roadmaps, system integrations, and architectural standards aligned with The Client's enterprise IT guidelines.
Design and develop high‐quality solutions using WinForms, Web APIs / REST services, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
Work with SQL Server (T‐SQL, stored procedures, performance optimization).
Build and maintain service‐oriented architectures (SOA) and API‐driven integrations.
Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and long‐term maintainability of applications.
Act as a technical reference for the team, providing hands‐on guidance and mentoring.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
Support technical decision‐making, risk identification, and delivery planning.
Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders across regions.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with a future Tech Manager / Architect role.
Operate within enterprise SDLC frameworks, covering design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
Ensure compliance with governance, security, documentation, and audit requirements.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high‐quality,



production‐ready releases.
Communicate complex technical topics clearly to technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
Produce architecture documents, design specifications, and technical documentation.
Present technical progress and product updates to leadership.
Required Skills
7+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
Experience with WinForms, Web APIs / REST, Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
Strong understanding of SOA, enterprise integration patterns, and API‐driven architectures.
Proven experience working in large enterprise IT environments with structured SDLC processes.
Ability to operate both as a hands‐on senior IC and as a technical leader.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Exposure to microservices, containerization, or message‐based architectures.
Experience in regulated or security‐sensitive enterprise environments.
Understanding of UI/UX principles.
Details
Scholarity: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
Location: Chapinero, Bogotá (Hybrid/Remote within Colombia, 3 days in the office – 2 days remote).
Industry: General Life Sciences, Laboratory & Diagnostics.
Type of Contract: Labor Indefinite.
English Level: B2+ or C1.
Salary Range: Up to $20,000,000 COP according to experience.
Health Insurance Coverage: Premium payments fully covered by the company.
Additional Paid Time Off: Two additional vacation days per year starting after the second year of service.
