Do you want to be part of one of the five largest IT and business process services companies in the world?
At CGI, we are looking for a Trade Finance SME with BA capabilities to work on an international projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Conversational English level B2 or higher.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance.

- Strong and detailed knowledge and experience of Trade Finance products, processes, and operations, such as:
•Letters of Credit
• Guarantees / Standby Letters of Credit
• Documentary Collections
• Open Account Trade
• Trade Loans
• Supply Chain Finance
• Import and Export trade processes
• Bank-to-corporate trade operations
- Experience working within a bank’s Trade Finance operations, Trade Services, or Trade Technology area.

- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Implementation Consultant, or Trade Finance SME, with emphasis on detailed functional requirements and functional design documentation.

- Experience must be directly related to Trade Finance or Supply Chain Finance.

General banking, wealth management, investment management, relationship management, or sales experience alone will not be sufficient.

- Proven ability to write detailed functional designs, business requirements, process flows, test scenarios, and implementation documentation in the context of Trade Finance.

- Strong experience writing detailed functional specifications and validating system behavior against Trade Finance business requirements.

- Strong understanding of technology and software development lifecycles, especially in relation to banking or financial systems implementation.





- Ability to work directly with client banks to understand their Trade Finance operating model and translate their needs into clear, actionable requirements.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Superior written, verbal, and active listening communication skills, including presentation and workshop facilitation skills.

- Proven collaborative approach when working with business users, client stakeholders, product teams, development teams, QA, and implementation teams.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where ownership, initiative, accountability, and problem-solving are expected.

- Experience working with SaaS solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Translate international Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance market needs, as well as client bank requirements, into detailed business and functional requirements aligned with the overall product strategy.

- Work closely and collaboratively with client banks to understand their Trade Finance operational model, business processes, product usage, and implementation needs.

- Develop detailed functional designs, requirement specifications, process flows, use cases, and test scenarios specifically related to Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance.

- Support the configuration and testing of Trade to ensure the solution aligns with each client bank’s desired operating model.

- Collaborate with product, development, QA, and implementation teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, properly implemented, and aligned with long-term product direction.





- Provide ongoing guidance and clarification to development and implementation teams during analysis, design, build, test, and deployment phases.

- Participate in client workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, design reviews, testing discussions, and implementation planning.

- Support detailed functional testing, UAT preparation, defect triage, issue analysis, and validation of Trade Finance functionality.

- Assist client banks with implementation activities, including process alignment, procedural guidance, user training, and migration strategy.

- Ensure client requirements are evaluated not only for immediate implementation needs but also for alignment with future product strategy.

- Contribute to the growth and success of the Trade and Supply Chain Solutions group by bringing deep domain expertise and a practical understanding of Trade Finance operations.

- Travel up to 25% of the time, depending on business and client needs.

- Experience in Trade Finance technology vendors.

Additional Skills:
- Strong domain expertise in Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance.

- Strong documentation skills, including functional specifications, business requirements, process flows, test cases, and client-facing materials.

- Strong understanding of implementation lifecycles for banking technology platforms.

- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.

- Experience supporting general clients and working with distributed teams.

- Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to bridge the gap between client bank operations, product strategy, and technical delivery teams.
