Design, maintain and support real-time financial market data models — working with large financial datasets, Snowflake, SQL and Python to keep data products accurate and resilient for clients.

Job Duties

- Design, develop, maintain and support real-time financial market data models within TP ICAP's proprietary pricing and analytics applications (Tailor and Axiom), ensuring high-quality, accurate and resilient data products for clients.
- Investigate, analyse and resolve data quality and production issues by working with large financial datasets, historical market data and multiple internal/external data sources.
- Query and analyse data stored in Snowflake using SQL and Python to validate model outputs, investigate anomalies and support product development.
- Work closely with Product, Market Data and Data Engineering to implement new analytics, enhance existing products and support strategic initiatives.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment, taking ownership of issues through to resolution while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve calculation methodologies, automation, data quality and operational processes.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering,



Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience within Financial Markets, Market Data, or Energy & Commodities is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SQL to query and analyse large datasets.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and validation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently after training.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment with competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience with real-time market data or financial data products would be advantageous, but not essential.
