Senior Full-Stack Quality Engineer (Remote)Cafeto Software is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Quality Engineer to join a high-velocity, continuous-flow delivery team for one of our integral technology clients.This is not a manual-testing role. We're looking for a technical Quality Engineer who owns quality end-to-end — from web applications and APIs to data flows and cloud infrastructure — and who builds automation that scales.About the RoleWhat You’ll own the end-to-end quality strategy for complex features, APIs, web applications, and data-driven workflows, combining hands‑on testing, test automation, and modern AI-assisted engineering to improve defect prevention and release confidence.What You’ll DoOwn quality end-to-end — validate web applications, APIs, data flows, permissions, integrations, and AWS-backed services from design through release.Build automation that scales — develop and maintain browser test automation with Playwright and TypeScript, plus backend API validation.Investigate failures like an engineer — troubleshoot complex system behavior across browser diagnostics, API payloads, SQL records, and cloud logs (AWS/CloudWatch).Integrate with CI/CD — build and maintain automated test suites inside CI/CD pipelines to enforce risk-based quality gates.Work with AI-assisted engineering — use tools like Claude Code, Cursor,



or Copilot for test generation, code refactoring, and log analysis, always validating output quality.What You Bring5+ years of hands‑on Quality Engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on web applications, APIs, and backend-driven workflows.Strong, practical experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.Deep experience testing API-driven workflows, with tools like Postman or Bruno.Strong SQL skills to verify data persistence, schema mapping, and workflow states.Practical experience with AWS, CloudWatch, and observability platforms (Datadog, Kibana, or Sentry).Solid familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.Nice to HaveExperience validating non-deterministic or event-driven systems (queues, async pipelines, or basic LLM/AI testing awareness).Familiarity with cross-browser testing platforms like BrowserStack.Experience in customer-critical or operationally sensitive environments.Why Cafeto SoftwareCafeto is a nearshore technology partner connecting top LATAM talent with global companies building high-impact products.
