Senior Staff Accountant – Family Office

Medellín / Bogotá — Hybrid | Full-time (US Calendar)

At Shareholder Services, we're looking for a skilled Senior Staff Accountant who can ensure accuracy and integrity across our U.S.-based entities while supporting a fast-paced, multi-entity family office.

What you'll do

- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and general ledger transactions
- Own account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for assigned entities
- Manage AP/AR transactions, cash reconciliations, and payroll validation
- Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve speed and accuracy in accounting processes




- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, and Operations

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with general ledger and reconciliations
- Experience in multi-entity or high-volume environments (preferred)
- Prior experience with US-based or multinational companies
- Strong knowledge of Net Suite and/or Quick Books
- Advanced Excel and solid GAAP knowledge
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
