Job Description

The Chief Technical Officer will lead the technical strategy andmetallurgical development of gold tailings retreatment andrecovery projects. This role is responsible for optimizingprocessing technologies, guiding metallurgical test work, andproviding technical leadership throughout project development,from feasibility through commissioning and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadthe development and optimization of metallurgical flowsheetsfor gold recovery from tailings, including CIL, CIP, and Heap Leach processes.

Designand oversee metallurgical test work programs, laboratorycampaigns, and pilot plant studies to validate recoverystrategies.

Optimizegold recovery, reagent consumption,



and overall plantperformance through continuous technical evaluation andprocess improvements.

Providetechnical oversight and mentorship to process engineeringand metallurgical teams responsible for plant design,optimization, and operations.

Delivermetallurgical expertise during feasibility studies,engineering design, construction, commissioning, and ramp-upphases.

Supporttechnical due diligence and evaluation of new tailingsretreatment opportunities, including resourcecharacterization and processing suitability.

Ensurecompliance with cyanide management codes, environmentalregulations, and best industry practices.

Driveinnovation and adoption of emerging technologies for theprocessing of low-grade and complex tailingsresources.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degreein Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or arelated discipline.

15+ years ofexperience in gold processing plant operations,metallurgical design, or project development.

Strong technicalexpertise in CIL/CIP and Heap Leach processing.

Experience intailings retreatment or reprocessing projects is highlypreferred.

Proven track recordof leading technical teams and contributing to successfulproject development.
