Overview

Ruvimo is hiring skilled High School Math Instructors to teach US students in Grades 9–12 through personalised 1:1 online sessions.

You will teach core high school math topics such as Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and support students with homework, test prep, and reasoning skills.

This is a selective role. Only 3–5 percent of applicants typically clear our process.

Responsibilities

- Teach US students in Grades 9–12 (1:1 online)
- Cover Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Cal, Calculus, and problem-solving
- Help with homework, class topics, quizzes, and exams
- Provide reasoning-based explanations, not just solutions
- Communicate professionally with students and parents
- Use a writing tablet and online whiteboard effectively

What we’re looking for

Must Have

- Clear conceptual understanding of high-school math
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience (online or offline)




- Ability to break down concepts step-by-step
- Quiet teaching setup and stable internet
- Writing tablet (or willingness to get one before joining)

Preferred

- AP Calculus (AB/BC) or SAT/ACT Math familiarity
- Comfort teaching multiple grade bands (8–12)

Who will not be a good fit

To reduce mismatches, this role is not suitable if you:

- are looking for generic work-from-home jobs
- cannot teach late evenings / early mornings IST
- rely only on slides or scripted teaching
- struggle with communication or improvisation
- are currently a full-time student with limited availability
