Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Watch short film and video clips and break them down into detailed, beat-by-beat visual descriptions
Describe camera movement, framing, shot composition, blocking, pacing, and mood
Communicate emotional tone and atmosphere using purely visual indicators — no dialogue references
Follow standardized formatting guidelines for scene summaries and beat-level breakdowns
Re-watch clips as needed to capture accuracy and nuance
Maintain consistency and quality across a high volume of scene descriptions Who You Are Passionate about film, television, or visual storytelling in any form
Able to articulate what you see on screen with clarity and precision
Strong structured writing skills — you can organize observations into a clean, readable format
Detail-oriented and comfortable rewatching footage to get it right
Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
No professional film or media experience required Nice to Have Background in screenwriting, film studies, photography, or visual arts
Experience writing shot lists, production notes, or creative briefs
Familiarity with cinematographic terms and techniques
