Role Description The AI Software Engineering Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Medellín. This role involves assisting in the design, development, and testing of software components that support AI-driven tools and internal applications used in real estate analysis and operations. Daily tasks may include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and efficient code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with senior engineers to integrate AI models into production systems.

The intern will also help document technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and support continuous improvement of development workflows and system performance.





Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.

- Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining server-side applications or services.

- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), using languages commonly applied in AI and web development (such as Python, Java, or similar).

- Ability to learn and apply AI/ML concepts, use relevant libraries or frameworks, and work with data in a structured, logical way.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow coding standards and best practices.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Interest or experience in real estate, finance, or data-driven decision-making is a plus.
