We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accountant (US GAAP) to join our remote team. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love ensuring financial accuracy, and want to work with an international US-based company, we want to meet you!

? Role Summary:

- Title: Senior / Staff Accountant (US GAAP)
- Location: 100% Remote in Colombia
- Language: B2+ English required; C1 preferred (spoken and written)
- Schedule: Full-time, aligned with US business hours

?️ What You’ll Do:

- Manage the full-cycle general ledger accounting process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist and lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in strict compliance with US GAAP.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper coding of expenses and accurate revenue recognition.
- Assist with external and internal audits, providing schedules, documentation, and answering inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement financial best practices to streamline accounting operations.





✅ Must-Have Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally working directly with US-based companies or multinational corporations.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- English proficiency: B2 minimum; C1 strongly preferred (daily interaction with US stakeholders).
- Hands-on experience with top-tier ERP systems ( e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, SAP, or Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, index/match, and complex formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

? Nice to Have:

- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA certification (active or in progress).
- Previous experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm or a fast-growing tech/SaaS environment.
- Experience with multi-currency consolidations and intercompany transactions.
