Position: Bilingual Accounting Assistant

Location: Medellín – REMOTE

Salary: Up to COP $2.6M + benefits

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

English Level: B2+

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bilingual Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This role is adecuado for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of accounting experience who are eager to continue developing their careers in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.

- Prepare and maintain invoices, financial records, and supporting documentation.

- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.

- Assist with month-end closing activities.

- Enter and verify accounting data accurately.

- Support expense reporting and payroll-related processes.





- Follow up on outstanding balances and vendor inquiries.

- Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.

- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish with internal teams and clients.

- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and policies.

Requirements

- Technical degree, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar functions.

- Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher), both written and spoken.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar is a plus.
