Summary of Position

We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team. You’ll be responsible for editing podcast episodes and social media content, adhering to brand guidelines, and creating motion graphics.

Responsibilities

- Edit videos for podcast episodes, social media cuts
- Regularly collaborate with the team for directions and project status
- Follow each client’s brand guidelines
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts, incorporate client feedback




- Design motion graphics title cards and lower thirds
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with management from production to post-production process
- Communicate with clients and submit deliverables on time (48 hour turnaround)
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Requirements

- 3-10+ years of proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio of videos you have created specifically for YouTube and social media platforms (horizontal and vertical-type of videos)
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Adobe tools, After Effects, Photoshop etc.)
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
