At CGI, we are looking for a CAD Designer/Solid Works Modeler to work on an international project.

Requirements:
- Technologist or Bachelor's degree in Design, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 6 to 9 Years of Experience as a CAD Designer/Solid Works Modeler
- SolidWorks experience
- Advanced Sheet Metal Modeling
- Part Modeling
- Weldments
- Drawing Creation & Drafting
- Configuration Management in SolidWorks
- Ability to work from PDF drawings and recreate accurate CAD models
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:
- Convert existing PDF drawings into accurate 3D SolidWorks models and manufacturing drawings.
- Create sheet metal, tubing, piping, and weldment part models.
- Generate dimensioned drawings that comply with CGI/client standards.




- Correct legacy CAD data gaps, missing files, and improperly modeled parts.
- Follow established modeling methodologies and drawing standards.
- Submit completed work for review and approval by assigned R&D; CAD Designers.

Nice to have:
- Copper tubing and piping modeling experience
- Experience with legacy CAD conversion projects
- Familiarity with manufacturing drawings and drafting standards
- Experience supporting engineering backlog reduction initiatives

Additional Skills:
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong SolidWorks sheet metal and part modeling expertise.
- Ability to work independently while following established standards and processes.
