**A Day in the Life**
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Bogotá SSC.
Engaged with a strategic mindset, this position will play a critical role in supporting financial analysis and reporting, leadership decision support, and cross-functional partnership.
This position reports to the Finance Director, Portfolio+ FP&A;, and offers a unique opportunity to influence and shape financial strategies on a global scale, working closely with the team and key partners across Medical Surgical Portfolio, Americas Region-Led Markets, and the Global Commercial Office, organizations comprising Portfolio+.

This role will work in a flex model in Bogotá.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ **Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting:** This role supports core FP&A; processes including the Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Plan, and recurring forecast cycles.
Partnering with the OU FP&A; teams, this role aligns analysis and reporting, manages calendars and timelines, as well as ad-hoc requests and projects as directed.
This role also serves as the revenue subject matter expert for the Portfolio – providing accurate and timely reporting on a weekly (and ad-hoc) basis to leadership, articulating key performance drivers, and performing forward-looking modeling
+ **Decision Support:** As a member of the Portfolio+ FP&A; team, this role supports financial strategies aligned with enterprise objectives.
Responsibilities may include providing analysis related to financial drivers of the P&L; and free cash flow, comprehensive revenue analysis, employee incentive programs, KPI tracking and analysis, as well as partnering with the broader team to align financial outcomes to strategic choice for leadership
+ **Business Partnership:** Collaborating with the OU FP&A; teams, this role aligns reporting mechanisms, calendar/timelines, as well as supports ad-hoc requests.
Additionally, this role is the finance partner to the Region-Led Markets leader for Medical Surgical Portfolio, acting as a critical thought partner, and providing key insights to guide decision making
+ **Process Optimization:** This role requires a process improvement mindset and putting into practice innovative ways to drive efficiency.
Leveraging available technology (OneStream, Power BI, Copilot), this role will establish operating mechanisms and share best practices across the broader team
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
+ Four years of experience supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;): Support Sales Organizations with financial planning, forecasting,
and expense reporting
+ Fluent in English
+ Expertise in leveraging systems and data for insightful analysis
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills; adept at multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities
+ Knowledge of GAAP and Medtronic accounting policies is a plus
+ Ability to standardize work processes and procedures
+ Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems (SAP, OneStream)
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
