International Languages Service, Inc. (ILS) is a leading Language Service Company (LSC) headquartered in Florida. Founded in 2003, we are a small, mission‑driven team with a big impact—and we’re looking for an Operations and Recruiting manager to help us scale smart.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and automate the end‑to‑end interpreter (contractor) recruitment, onboarding, and compliance process.
- Ensure proper onboarding of contractors, including collecting documentation, coordinating language tests, health screenings, background checks, and accurate documentation.
- Capture contractor information in company databases and solutions such as accounting software, OneDrive, and CRM.
- Provide timely professional communications via phone, mail/email, social media, and company websites with contractors and partners.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top language talent.
- Source candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards and social media.
- Review resumes and job applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and fit.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.




- Provide regular reports on recruitment activities and progress.

Qualifications and Skills

- Proven experience as a recruiter in the language industry, with a successful track record in sourcing and placing contractors.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using a CRM.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage high‑volume recruiting processes simultaneously.
- Ability to assess contractor skills, experience, and cultural fit effectively.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and other online recruiting tools.
- A degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in education, healthcare, or non‑profits.
- Familiarity with interpreter training or language access fields.
- Experience accreditation frameworks.
- A second or third language that you speak =)
- Experience with Entrepreneurial Operating Systems (EOS).
- Experience working within a management consultancy.
