Transportation Operations Specialist (JN -(phone hidden))

The Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring smooth, reliable freight movement across the country. You’ll be responsible for tracking and tracing active shipments, coordinating pickup and delivery appointments, and building loads in our TMS (Revenova/Salesforce). Experience Requirements

- 1+ year of experience in logistics, dispatching, or transportation operations (preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with technology—Salesforce, TMS platforms, or similar tools preferred
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

- Track and trace shipments daily, providing proactive updates to the team and carriers
- Contact shippers and receivers to schedule appointments, confirm times, and handle changes
- Use customer portals such as E2Open, LoadSmart, OTM, and other online scheduling systems to manage pickup and delivery appointments
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate load details in Revenova (Salesforce)
- Communicate through Front to ensure visibility and alignment across the team
- Assist in building loads from start to finish, ensuring all pickup, delivery, and rate details are correct
- Support after‑hours or weekend coverage rotation as needed
- Collaborate with Carrier Sales and Account Management to resolve issues and improve workflow
