The Audience Sciences Manager oversees the curation of audience data (1P, 2P, 3P) to define, model, and create audience segmentation. This work is critical to the production of insights, strategy and business planning, campaign activation, and optimization. Working in close partnership with the Product team, the Audience Sciences Manager helps drive platform adoption, supports the quality assurance of audience data sources, and contributes to the development of new data use cases that enhance audience capabilities. The role also partners closely with account teams across multiple agencies, serving as a trusted analytics resource by supporting audience analysis, insight generation, and the application of audience data to meet client objectives.

Responsibilities

- Applies independent critical thinking to analyze vast data sets to uncover media insights, what’s working, what’s not working.
- Serve as a strategic partner in aligning audience analytics with clients’ broader business goals and develop intelligently designed, efficient and effective approaches to support those objectives.
- Provide analytic insights in support of custom audience creation based on multiple data sources including first party CRM data, third party data and syndicated survey data.
- Present audience findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with centralized Product and Engineering teams to help drive innovation and new services.
- Works independently to manage day‑to‑day responsibilities across multiple small accounts or projects, ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery.
- Collaborates effectively with and supports team members by coordinating activities, sharing expertise, reviewing work when needed, and contributing to overall project success.




- Analyses information to solve on‑going problems.
- Demonstrates thought leadership, strategy guidance moving from pure execution to tactical/strategic thinking.
- Uses knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams (internal and external) to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives.

Qualifications

- Experience summarizing large quantities of quantitative and qualitative information to discover useful information and conclusions that can be used to form insights.
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques and their audience development applications including supervised and unsupervised algorithms.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and audience modeling.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts and contributing to the development of team best practices, documentation, and analytical standards.
- Curiosity about emerging trends in data, privacy, AI, and marketing technology, with a willingness to evaluate and adopt new approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player - highly motivated and collaborative.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of experience in a professional services or corporate environment (media, advertising, marketing analytics, or consulting organizations is a plus).
- Experience translating technical analyses into business-level recommendations.
- Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, or Technology teams to develop scalable solutions is a plus.
