Experience: at least 1 year of prior experience in USA Import logistics required – this includes freight forwarding, CFS, Drayage/ Trucking, etc.

Some of the responsibilities associated to this position are:

- Prepare and process import documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures
- Cargo wise experience
- Oversee business processes
- Coordinate logistics or and shipping operations
- Calculate import terminal handling fees owed on shipments
- Calculate CFS fees
- Coordinate ocean freight shipments from origin country to USA
- Request or compile necessary import documentation, such as customs invoices, certificates of origin, and cargo control documents




- Collect regulatory documentation activities
- Monitor / trace the location of goods
- Obtain documentation to authorize activities
- Purchase bonds for the products being imported or assist clients in obtaining bonds
- Estimate costs of goods or services
- Obtain lines releases for shipments
- Arrange for transportation, warehousing or product distribution of imported products.
- Inform importers about steps to improve logistics strategy
- Regular contact with freight forwarders for origin services
- Develop business relationships
