help businesses leverage general talent. About This Role: We are
hiring a Logistics Manager for a growing home and lifestyle brand.
You will manage US fulfillment, international shipments, inventory
planning, returns, and logistics costs across multiple
manufacturers, warehouses, carriers, and 3PL partners. Your first
priorities will be reducing overstock and understock, identifying
operational bottlenecks, and creating a clear analysis of inbound
and overall logistics costs. Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple
shipments from different manufacturers to different warehouses
while maintaining accurate documentation and timelines. Oversee US
fulfillment for parcel, oversized parcel, and residential
deliveries across multiple warehouses and 3PL partners. Coordinate
FCL and LCL shipments under EXW, FOB, and DDP shipping terms. Work
with manufacturers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, ports, warehouses, and internal teams. Prepare, review, and
maintain commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, HTS
or HS codes, and customs documentation. Coordinate customs duties, port-to-warehouse delivery, container planning, inbound
appointments, and shipment tracking. Manage returns, damaged or
lost shipments, replacements, carrier claims, and related inventory
adjustments. Analyze stock levels, forecasts, reorder points, inbound quantities, and warehouse allocation to reduce overstock
and understock. Analyze inbound freight, storage, fulfillment, delivery, returns, and other logistics costs to identify problems
and savings opportunities. Investigate bottlenecks, raise risks
early, and independently recommend practical operational
improvements. Software/Platforms/Tools: Shopify Microsoft Excel and
Google Sheets Warehouse management and 3PL platforms Carrier and
shipment-tracking portals Freight-forwarding and customs
documentation systems Google Workspace and project management tools
AI tools for reporting, analysis, documentation, and workflow
improvement Qualifications: At least 4 years of logistics, fulfillment, international freight, imports, inventory planning, or
supply chain experience. Experience supporting an eCommerce, DTC, retail, furniture, home goods, or other physical-product business.
Hands-on experience with US fulfillment, parcel and oversized
parcel shipping, residential delivery, and multi-warehouse
operations. Experience managing 3PL partners, returns, damaged or
lost shipments, and fulfillment problems. Strong knowledge of EXW, FOB, DDP, FCL, LCL, customs duties, HTS or HS codes, and import
documentation. Experience coordinating customs brokers, freight
forwarders, carriers, ports, suppliers, and warehouses. Strong
Shopify and spreadsheet skills for inventory tracking, shipment
management, reporting, and cost analysis. Able to manage several
shipments, partners, documents, and deadlines without losing track
of details. Highly organized, proactive, persistent with
follow-ups, and capable of solving operational issues
independently. Collaborative, accountable, and comfortable working
in a team that maintains high standards without micromanagement.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, with required overlap during US
business hours for meetings, warehouse and carrier coordination, shipment support, and operational updates. Exact working hours and
the required amount of overlap will be agreed upon directly between
the contractor and the client.
