Amazon Web Services Colombia S.A.S. - Solutions Architect Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect to help launch and grow our public sector and education business in Colombia.
You will be part of a dynamic team that incorporates the newest cloud computing technologies to address complex problems of IT agility and cost.
Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) at a professional or native level is required.
Key Responsibilities Serve as a technical reference in Colombia, ensuring customer success in creating and migrating applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform.
Engage and educate new and existing partner ecosystems, supporting their technical implementation efforts.
Help solution providers and government agencies define and implement technical and commercial strategies that reduce costs and elevate citizen services.
Capture and share best‐practice knowledge within the general AWS Solutions Architect community and the local SA team.
Understand AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
A Day in the Life Create, build, transfer knowledge, and design cloud‐computing architectures for education, health, government, and non‐government entities.
Participate in deep technical discussions about design,



continually update technical skills, and monitor industry trends.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, pride, and a strong customer value proposition in all interactions.
Basic Qualifications Experience in English‐language communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non‐technical audiences.
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in application and infrastructure experience.
3+ years of IT sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Technical and customer‐facing skills allowing you to serve as the technical face of AWS within the solution provider ecosystem and directly to end customers.
