We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join our team in Barranquilla. You will design, build, and maintain the backend services that power our platform. This is a hands-on senior role: you will own significant technical decisions, mentor mid-level engineers, and help shape our architecture as we scale.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and frontend engineers in a modern, agile environment. English is used regularly for technical documentation and collaboration with international teammates and clients.

What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript/Nest JS.
- Own features end-to-end:



from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring in production.
- Architect and evolve microservices and event-driven systems.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and champion strong engineering practices (code review, testing, observability, documentation).
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical roadmap decisions.
- Help improve our CI/CD, deployment, and development workflows.
