The Responsibilities
Mine Commercial Manager.
The Mine Commercial Manager (MCM) is the primary finance business partner reporting directly to the Mine General Manager and indirectly to the VP Business Development. The MCM support the GM by leading all commercial and financial aspects of mine planning, budgeting and forecasting as well as assessing the financial performance of the mine. The MCM will prepare and delivering detailed operating and capital cost models and reports and will manage the preparation of all required allowance for expenditure (AFE) documentation. The MCM will be directly and intimately involved in cost analysis and control, inventory management, support procurement and contract management, and mine performance measurement to support both operational decision-making and corporate performance reporting.

The role is responsible for producing timely,



auditable financial analysis and “what‑if” business cases (ROI, NPV, sensitivity analysis) to inform mine planning, capital prioritization and cost improvement initiatives. The MCM will partner closely with operations (mining, processing, maintenance, geology), procurement and the corporate FP&A; team to translate technical plans into financial metrics and ensure alignment with the Company’s templates, timelines and policies. Accounting and statutory financial reporting are handled by the regional and corporate accounting team; the MCM provides the planning inputs, reconciliations and supporting schedules.

The idóneo candidate brings strong mining finance experience (preferably with underground gold operations), advanced financial modelling skills, and demonstrated ability to build and maintain cost and capital models, KPIs and management reporting.
