About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our freight forwarding business in Colombia. You will be responsible for developing the local market, acquiring direct shippers (factories/e-commerce), and managing key agent relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
Identify and acquire new clients in Colombia; build and maintain a strong network of direct shippers and overseas agents.
- Solution Selling:
Provide tailored logistics solutions (Ocean, Air, Multimodal) based on client needs to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance.
- End-to-End Execution:
Oversee the shipment lifecycle from quotation and booking to customs clearance and final delivery, ensuring smooth operations.
- Relationship Management:
Handle contract negotiations,



resolve operational issues promptly, and enhance customer satisfaction to secure repeat business.
- Risk & Finance:
Monitor market trends, ensure trade compliance, and manage accounts receivable to minimize financial risk.

Requirements:
- Experience:
5+ years in international freight forwarding sales. Existing network in Colombia/South America is a
strong plus
.
- Languages:
Fluent in English (written/oral).
Spanish proficiency is mandatory.
- Skills:
Deep knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF) and import/export procedures. Strong negotiation and resilience under pressure.
- Location:
Must be currently based in Colombia.
