We're seeking an experienced
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
to help build high-quality software for a U.S.-based client. This is an engineering-first position for developers who enjoy designing automation frameworks and improving software quality through code.

This is
not
a traditional QA role. We're looking for engineers with strong development skills and experience creating scalable test automation solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks

• Create end-to-end test automation using
Playwright
(our primary automation tool)

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code

• Work closely with software engineers and product teams

• Improve automation coverage, reliability, and overall software quality





What We're Looking For

✅ 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering and SDET

✅ Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, or similar languages

✅
Professional experience with Playwright (required)

✅ Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks

✅ Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber/BDD, and Page Object Model

✅ Experience working with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD tools

✅ Solid understanding of APIs, modern web applications, software architecture, and Agile development

✅ Strong verbal and written English

Bonus Qualifications

⭐ Experience as a
Test Automation Architect
or designing enterprise
Test Automation Architecture

⭐ Previous experience as a
Backend Developer
or
Full Stack Developer

⭐ Experience with PHP, Laravel, or Vue.js

⭐ AWS, Docker, or cloud-native environments
