We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Carrier Sales Representative to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will manage the full shipment lifecycle-from quoting customers and securing freight opportunities to carrier management, shipment tracking, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Quote customers using DAT and Truckstop pricing and market intelligence tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow freight volume.
- Win freight opportunities by providing competitive pricing and outstanding customer service.
- Manage the complete shipment lifecycle from booking through delivery.
- Source and secure qualified carriers to successfully cover customer freight.
- Vet and onboard carriers using Highway to ensure compliance and carrier quality.
- Track active shipments, proactively communicate updates, and resolve service issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipment information within Alvys TMS (training provided if needed).




- Provide exceptional customer support by proactively addressing shipment delays, exceptions, and operational challenges.
- Negotiate rates with carriers while maintaining healthy shipment margins.
- Ensure all shipment documentation is complete and accurately maintained.
- Meet individual productivity, service quality, and operational performance goals.

We're looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience in US freight brokerage, logistics, dispatch, carrier sales, freight operations, or customer operations.
- Strong understanding of truckload transportation and freight brokerage processes.
- Experience quoting freight using DAT and/or Truckstop is highly preferred.
- Experience working with transportation management systems (experience with Alvys is a plus, but training will be provided).
- Experience working with Highway or similar carrier compliance platforms is considered an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service mindset.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

- Working schedule: Mon-Fri 08:00 am - 07:00 pm EST
